On the morning of October 18th, Hutchinson Realty Development, LLC announced a future $3.5 million Penn Station Commons project at the 1200 block of W. Fourth Street. The project will be
privately funded and is supported by Councilman Dr. Gabriel Campana. In the above photo, Julie Folmer, project Manager of Penn Station Commons, describes initiatives while Councilman Gabe Campana looks on.
Jason Fitzgerald from State Representative Steve Capelli's office, Marlyne Whaley,
City Council Vice-President, and Dr. Gabe Campana, City Councilman, attended the announcement to show their support for the project.
Following the announcement, attendees ask questions about the project, as Councilman Campana looks on. Campana was instrumental in convincing Hutchinson Realty Development to develop in the west end.
On Sept. 14th Gabe's campaign hosted a very successfull fundraising dinner at the Holiday Inn, Williamsport Gabe offers a warm greeting to one of his many supporters attending the dinner.
The crowd of almost one hundred supporters listens as Gabe begins his address. Some of the campaign issues Gabe spoke about were down town revitalization and
expanding the downtown business zone.
Gabe also spoke of the need to control tax increases and government spending here in Williamsport. Gabe's speech elicited enthusiastic applause from the audience.
Following the address, refreshments were served, and members of the audience were able to personally meet Gabe and discuss campaign issues with him directly. Former Mayor Phil Preziosi attended the dinner and offers his full support of Dr. Campana.
